I am absolutely passionate about capturing the character and beauty of my subjects through my work, whether it be animals, people or the world around us. I am fortunate enough to have been commissioned by some wonderful people; painting their much loved pets, successful racehorses or moments in their military careers. Capturing places, feelings and memories with colour. I welcome a variety of commissions in your choice of oil or soft pastel.

Ideally, I will visit you to meet the subject, take photographs and make any necessary preliminary sketches, especially for human portraits. This is not always possible of course and in these circumstances, I am happy to use your own, good quality photographs. Once we have agreed the size and timescale for the painting, I will require a 50% deposit. The balance will be due on delivery of the finished painting.

Prices are determined by size, medium and complexity of the painting and will be agreed with you in advance, including any travel and shipping expenses. Paintings can be delivered framed or unframed. I am happy to arrange framing for you, which will be charged at cost.

I endeavour to deliver finished paintings in person. If this is not possible, a reliable courier will be used for shipping the painting to you.
